I didn't realise just how had passed since the day we lost nick... i remember sitting in our classroom, with everyone together... waiting for news every morning - praying nick would be found, that he was alright... and to be told he was gone, it broke my heart - i didnt get to know him that well, i only spoke to him in class - its too late now to get to know him, but its never too late to find a place for someone in your heart.
My thoughts go out to Nick... his friends, and his family... and all of those like me who still cant keep dry eyes reading through the messages left on this site... or looking at his pictures.
I miss his smile... and how he was such a nice guy - sometimes i found school hard... but he never made me feel unwelcome, and always talked to me... he never knew how much that helped me get through school some days!

That he's happier than I can imagine; That he wouldn't come back if he could; That nothing on this earth can harm him, And all questions are now understood. That he's with me for ever in Spirit; That he's not missing out on a thing; That he's waiting to meet me in Heaven; That he's safe with the rest of my kin.
That he's back with the Grandad who loved him, Whom he missed so much when he died; With his favourite History teacher, And our babies,who didn't survive. That he's party to secrets in Nature, And to all of the mysteries of Space; That pain and misfortune can't touch him; That he listens whenever I pray.
