He was a great friend and truelly great guy. He wil always be loved and never forgotten. Miss you nick and love you loads!

I only really got to know him in year 8 around the time when it was daniels birthday. we all went to see spiderman and then slept over at daniels house. i will always remember that night as me and nick wer the only ones who stayed up out of the boys. it seems just a stupid memory but its one of the things i will remember most about him. i was never one of his close friends but he was always pleasant with me and i respected that because a lot of people who dont know me are pretty nasty to me and assume childish things, but not nick. he was a decent guy and will be greatly missed. cried for him and my love goes out to his family. miss ya loads.
remember nick / John Chalmers John Chalmers:
first of all i would like to say that nic was a good man, we had a good laugh and he was always good to me whatever the circumstances. i say these things not because of what has happened to nic and i feel like i have to, but because these were my general feelings towards him. i remember one day nic was upset about something, it was so strange to see nic like this, none of us could figure out what was troubling him until he told us, his friends dad who he was very close to had passed away. even thou we were all feeling very sorry for nic i dont think any of us really felt the true emotions that nic was feeling, but now we do. it hurts so much that you just wish there was something you could do but there isn't. now we can all see how much we take life and the people in it for granted, we never really show how much we love them until there gone. nic u were loved by so many, u were an insperation to us all, i hope you are happy now where ever you are.

Saying Goodbye
The one thing that everybody who has written on this page agrees with is that Stampy was a great guy, and who am I to question that? Since I met Nick in year 7 ive never had a single bad word to say about him. He recently joined laurel park football team, and this made our friendship even stronger. I can remember how delighted i was when i found out he was joining because he was a good footballer and an even better friend. He reffered to us as the "hardest midfeild partnership in the league." and we certainly spent a lot of time getting each other out of scraps! i reall regret not being able to say a proper goodbye to Nick, but because i was away on the last day of half turm my last words to him were "see you tomorrow"-if only we had all known about the tragic accident about to occur. I'm not a particularly religious person, but i do think Nick is in a better place where we will all see him again some day. I may not have been his best friend but i really miss him and i wanna dedicate everything i achieve to his honour. i send my deepest sympathy and regrets to his family, who must be finding this harder than any of us. i also want to praise nicks closest and dearest friends, and thank ross for being with him and all of you deserve admiration for the way you have handled the situation and kept nicks the happy guy he was. Well done to Robertson for setting up this website, you deserve a medal mate. This is so hard to say but goodbye nick. You've left behind so many friends and touched so many hearts. cheers for being such a good mate to everyone
In loving memory

remember nick / James Hilman James Hillman: i know this may seem weird me writing a message on the website as i didn't know nick, but from what i heard he seemed like the best person ever. I know that it is good that everyone has turned up to laurel as a sign of respect but it is for all the wrong reasons, as we wouldn't have done it if nothing ever happened. Nick will come home im sure of it. Just everyone keep there hopes high and keep positive. James

What has happened over the last few days has been unbelievable unexplainable, how can such a good honest guy be taken just like that? The reason is not know but I know like many others that Nick is up there looking down on us and guiding us through life. I will always remember Nick as a great guy, one who never did anything wrong, who will be greatly missed. Nick you have touched so many hearts and we will always remember the afro you were going to grow and how you were going to destroy the drama studio. My heart goes out to his family, who must be going through so much.
R.I.P Nick “Stampy” Stamp, gone but not forgotten.

Didn’t know nick really, at all, and reading all these comments, makes me sad that I didn’t know him. All I can remember is Radstock, an playing “jail” and stuff. When I bumped into him, Ross, or Peter, doing their paper round, just said “alrite”, an carried on walking. I cant say a lot, as I really didn’t know him, but still, for old times sake. As I’ve lost someone close to me before, I know how u all feel, an it sucks. My heart goes out to his family n friends.

remember nick / Claire Hill (mate) Claire Hill: I met Nick and daniel on holiday, and I didnt know him very well but i still felt quite close to him. Over the week, i got to know his amazing personality, great sense of humour and how sensitive he could be. I would often go off and talk to him if i had a problem and he would always assure me that everything would be alright in the end, and it was. I'll never forget how great he was when daniel was drunk, he looked after him all night, even though he didnt want to, he stayed by his side and made sure he was ok. And the time he was pretending to be german, but whenever daniel wasnt listening he changed to english! Nick was the one who taught me and ellie to play cricket, one of the best coaches ive ever had, and one of the funniest moments when we were at eds and he did his dance to scooter, he had us all in stitches. I cant even begin to imagine how hard this is for all of you close to him. everyones wondering, why him? why nick? why that great person that everyone could talk 2? I want 2 thank daniel for doing this site, its reali great and im sure nick would be proud of u all thats written such lovely words. My thoughts and prayers are wiv all of u, and of course his family, who are goin through such a hard time. I will never forget you, love claire xxxxxxxxxxx

for all of nicks friends who dont know me, i met nick whilst on holiday in centre parcs this year, along with dan. i only knew nick for 6 days, but after that holiday was over, i felt like i had found a new good friend in him. i spoke to him a few times after, but never met him again, and that is one thing i deeply regret. the memories of him pole-vaulting on the beach, and him in general will sincerley stay with me forever. i was deeply shocked and saddened when i heard the news. i cannot imagine what those of u who were much closer to him must be feeling. my heart goes out to you all, especially nicks close friends and his family. thanks dan, for setting up the site so i could say this. I wasn't as close to Nick as a lot of people writing on this site were but reading about everyones memories of Nick and their thoughts has made me cry my eyes out with saddness and regret. I regret not getting to know Nick. He was clearly worth having as a friend and the fact that so many many people have been affected by this tragedy simply proves that he was a kind, sweet, funny, genuine person who deffinitly did not deserve this. Nick was in my tutor group. He was always one of the people who we would count on to represent our house in all types of activities and on sports day, an all-rounded guy, but especially good at football and running. Now, when sports day comes round, races, football matches, I'll think of Nick, but he just wont be there. There will also be something missing in every Drama lesson that i had with him, i remember watching one of his perfromances when he completely forgot his lines and for a few minutes everyone was silent. I remember feeling so sorry for Nick, saying poor Nick he forgot his lines. But nothing compares to this. Now i truly feel sorry. He didn't deserve to go, not like this. My heart goes out to his family and close friends. Nick you will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten, God bless you xxx Daniel, well done for doing this, giving everyone the oppurtunity to express their feelings, you're a good friend to Nick xxx

I didn't know Nick that well, but from the 10 years I did know him I can say that I know he was a great guy. From reading what others have put I can see that he was a great listener, and that everyone has fond memories of him. He was a very funny guy, as I could tell from English. He always made his presence felt and there was always a good atmosphere with him around. My thoughts are with everyone who loved him. He will never be forgotten. Sweet dreams Nick. Love, Lucy Corbett.

Jasleen Gill: Well there's not really much I can say about Nick because I didn't really know him that well. I only really got to know him in Drama, he was playing the part of Paris and he did really well. Nick was a great guy he always kept everyone laughing in rehearsals. He was really nice to me and I really appreciate that. During the time I got to know him, I found out he is a really really sweet and nice guy and he really didn't deserve this and I am sure if there really is a God out there, he won't let this happen to Nick, we will see him again, he'll walk into school with that cheeky grin and call us all stupid for worrying about him so much. So I'm not going to say goodbye Nick, i'm going to say see you soon. xxx
Jasleen Gill: They that love beyond the world Cannot be separated by it. Death is but crossing the world, As friends do the seas; They live in one another still.
Nick will always live on inside his friends, his memoy will never truly fade, as long as he has good friends who care for him deeply. We are all effected by what has happened to Nick whether we know it or not, this incident has had an effect on us all no matter how big or small. This is 4 u Nick, we will see you again.
