Gemma Scoulding:

i just wanna say how much of a great guy nick was. he always had a smile on his face no matter what and was always able to make everyone laugh. iv known him since playgroup and after all these years i really cannot think of a nicer, funnier person. i regret that we did not stay such good friends as we were at Radstock. from what other people have written i can see that he hadnt changed a bit. i still find it very difficult to accept the fact that he has gone and i cant even begin to imagine what it must be like for his close friends and family. we will all miss you nick and you will be in our hearts always. love you loads gemma scoulding xxxxx

I wasn,t close to Nick like some of you. but never the less i feel the same loss and pain as the others. Nick was in my art lesson and he was a very jolly person who alwayz had a smile on his face. I only remeber his smiling face. From what i hear about his personality i can imagine what a charming boy he was. I know how he has touched peoples hearts by his loving personality.my thoughts go out to his family. rest in peace nick and may god bless you.

remember nick  / Mr Richards (drama teacher )

Mr Richards

I had the sincere pleasure to teach Nick Drama from Year 9.
I always remember Nick as being a very friendly and gentle young man whom I greatly admired for being so cool, calm and collected.
One memorable occasion I have is during 11M4's first half term in Drama in Year 9, when the group wrote their own short monologues. When nobody else in the group dared volunteer to perform their work in front of 31 others, up shot Nick's hand; he didn't mind performing his monologue to his classmates in the slightest.
I was especially delighted when Nick opted to study Drama for GCSE, and what an added bonus to then becme his teacher in Year 10 and 11. Again, Nick continued to impress me with his regular attendance, hard work in lessons, focused attitude, reliability to after school rehearsals...
During group work, whilst his classmates may have been discontent with the group they may have been working in, Nick was never bothered by whom he worked with...and nobody ever minded if they woked with Nick. Indeed, I always got the impression that people really liked having Nick in their group.
In a recent GCSE practical assessment, Nick had a large part, therefore a lot of lines to learn for the final performance. Each lesson, it was so great to see that he had learnt a few more lines since the previous one. In the final performance, Nick was word perfect! The whole of the Drama group and I were delighted, but nobody was more pleased than NIck! His massive grin (and sigh!) at the end of the piece was testimony of this; it was a significant achievement for him!
Nick is a huge loss to his family, friends, tutor group, year group, and the whole school community. I will remember him with great affection.

I went to Radstock with Nick, and although I never got to know him, I still remember him today. He always seemed very happy at school, and my heart goes out to his friends. But it goes to his family in particular, as I know how it feels to lose a member of the family.

He will never be forgotten. Well done for making this website, for if Nick could see it now, he would be so happy to see how much people love him.

I went to primary school with nick and although i havent seen him for well over 5 years now and was not one of his closest friends anyway i can still remember him well. From what everyone else has written it sounds like he hasent changed a bit still sweet, kind and very caring person. Its such a waste of a wonderful life and i cant even imagine what his family are going through, my heart goes out to them. It sounds like he had a lot of really good friends and to create this website is such a lovely thing to do im sure he would have felt very honnered.
I dont understand why this had to happen and hope that he is in a better place now at peace. All my love Holly xx

What can I say I didn’t really know nick, I knew him enough to know that he was a laugh. The thing I will remember about Nick is that he was always up for a laugh, he was always able to find the sliver lining in the dark and black cloud what ever the problem and make it funny. He was a great guy, the best what else can I say?

Nick this site is for you to show you how everyone cared about you and how you will never be forgotten.

I know i didnt know Nick, as well as all the others did but what i did know of him, is that he was the most sweet loving man i know. our science lessons were the best. rej and nick and even some of the girls would say the same. going into the science class and seeing nick and rej run around made us smile more than ever. what a nice way to start the lesson where everyone is happy. Ill never forget you nick. xXx

Alrite daniel, great job with the website i know Nick would be proud to have had you as a mate.
I first met nick on my first day of at radstock primary school in year 4, i had a few people that were in charge of looking after me one of which was the infamous Nick 'Stampy' Stamp.
I remember playing those really silly games like monster wresltlers, marbles and the great game pogs with nick, peter, steve, darren, scott, everyone that i knew at the time but now'a days we think these games were really stupid but these are the very games that we have all bonded our friendship from because this was the sort of thing we got up to when i met the radstock group those many years ago.
For some reason the fondest memory i had of nick was in primary school we were do pe tests and we had to thorw a tennis ball as far as we could down the playground and everyone through the ball at least half way but not Nick, when Nick through it, he through it straight at the ground and he ended up with something like -0.5metres. Everyone laughed, even nick but that was the sort of guy nick was, did alot just for a laugh. But everyone respected him quite literally because he was the most respectful guy to know at the time and still is.
god bless, i konw your truly missed by eveyone. i will never forget you or the memories you have given to so many people. luv ya mate. R.I.P Nick 'Stampy' Stamp.

I've known Nick since playgroup and now regret not getting to know him better than I did. He was one of few people who didn't stereotype me and instead would always say hi or talk. This term I was going to perform a drama piece with him and will feel his absence this term especially and for many years to come. He is also one of few people who I have never had a bad word to say about and that includes some of my closest friends. Nick will be missed by everyone that knew him. Rest in peace Nick.
